Community rules
Good neighbors. Safer dogs.
This is a real local community, not an anonymous feed. These rules apply to profiles, posts, comments, boards, events, photos, videos, and direct messages.
Updated August 14, 2026
Lead with respect
Treat members, community team members, local businesses, and their dogs with care. Disagreement is allowed; harassment, threats, bullying, hate, pornographic or sexually explicit content, sexual exploitation, impersonation, and repeated unwanted contact are not. NACC is not a mature-content service and has no opt-in sexual-content area.
Protect people and animals
Do not promote animal cruelty, dangerous handling, illegal activity, fraud, or content that puts a person or animal at immediate risk. Event hosts should describe known rules and hazards honestly. Community discussion does not replace veterinary or other qualified professional care.
Child safety and zero tolerance for exploitation
North Alabama Canine Connection and Impactful Canine have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Members may not create, upload, share, request, promote, or distribute content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child.
Prohibited conduct includes grooming, sextortion, sexualizing a minor, trafficking a child for sexual exploitation, or using the community to arrange inappropriate contact with a child. These rules apply even when content is described as a joke, role-play, fictional, computer-generated, or shared privately.
Share what is yours to share
Post content you created or have permission to use. Do not expose another person's private information, private messages, address, or precise location without permission. Keep promotions relevant and honest.
Report and block
Use Report beside a post, photo, comment, Community Chat message, discussion, event, video, private message, or member profile when the team needs to review that exact item. Use Blockbeside another member's content, on their profile, or in a private conversation to stop new contact and hide ordinary community content between you. Manage or undo your blocks from More → Blocked Members. For an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services instead of waiting for an in-app response.
How moderation works
Impactful Canine may remove content, limit features, suspend an account, or end membership when needed to protect the community or enforce these rules. Reports are reviewed in context. Serious or repeated violations can lead to removal without prior warning.
We review reports promptly, normally within 24 hours; confirmed violations may be removed and accounts suspended or removed.
When Impactful Canine obtains actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or other child exploitation, it will take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law. That includes removing prohibited material, restricting the responsible account, preserving information when legally required, and reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or another appropriate authority as required by law.
